WOW! I am not even going to start with any cute sayings or introductions. Today was a great way to visit another seaside city south of Split while enjoying the natural beauty that is Omis.
As we approach the end of our Adriatic Adventures, our trek today was a first for all of us. Today was all about zip lining through the Cetina River valley. We also mixed in some beach time as well as some great food and walking around Omis.
The zip lining was amazing! Michelle lead our pack on the first (and longest) run and I have included video of each of us zipping along. It was, as I have overused throughout this trip, simply STUNNING!

Following our time zipping down the valley, we wandered down the road a bit to a great rock beach. The water felt so refreshing on such a sunny day. Of course, we were then in search of a light dinner.

We strolled back into the heart of Omis and found the perfect dinner. A local favorite is Gregada, which is a fish stew with potatoes that tastes like a light seafood chowder. Paired with bruschetta and a cold beer, it was the perfect near end of a perfect day. What really capped things off was the gelato! The day was a study in perfection.

While.our time in Croatia is coming to an end, it is not done yet. I have a couple of posts still to come, so don't change the channel yet. Who knows what adventures await these amazing travelers for whom I report...
